Molokini Crater Snorkeling
This camera is on top of the Makena Beach & Golf Resort courtesy of Kai Kanani Charters. The Kai Kanani runs snorkeling tours to Molokini Crater from the resort. You'll notice that Molokini Crater is easily within view of this camera.
The Kai Kanani is the only snorkel boat allowed to enter the beach here, which is the closest shoreline to Molokini Crater that you can leave from. That means when you travel with Kai Kanani, you get their faster in a shorter distance. Beat the crowds and enjoy snorkeling Molokini Crater with Kai Kanani.
Makena Beach & Golf Resort
The beach in front of the Makena Beach & Golf Resort is my favorite on the island. Great snorkeling from shore, pristine Hawaiian sand, and perfect blue/green water!We love the Makena Beach & Golf Resort! Our favorite thing about this large resort is its location. You can't beat being in Makena, south Maui! The beach is perfect, you're close to Big Beach and La Perouse too, and there's not a lot of development in the area. It's a great place to be if you want to get away from it all while still having it all. It's just a short drive to Wailea and Kihei for additional beaches, dining and shopping.
